Safe.Simple.Smart at JUJU EATS

Finally made my way to JUJU EATS for the SAFE.SIMPLE.SMART yummymummy event..thanks Noe for the invite!

I've dropped by this place before for some fresh juice, but this was my first time to sit and enjoy a meal there!

I got the AY CARAMBA Mexican Salad with nachos, beans and jalapenos without the chicken. YUMMEEE!!

And have you ever had HEALTHY SODA??

This GINGER SODA is made from fresh juice, honey and crushed ice...PERFECT cooler during this summer heat for this yummymummy!!

Blogger Sara Tirona with Bevs Dalton of Yahoo Philippines

David Azanza talks about the story behind Juju. He is the husband of Kat Rempe-Azanza, from the family behind The Farm at San Benito.

Yummymummy health wellness advocate, Bianca Araneta-Elizalde talks about why she loves Life Factory Glass Bottles for her and her family.

Here she is sharing some of her practical tips on safe and healthy living:

1. Eat right and preferable organic foods. -It's so refreshing to see a celebrity like Bianca choosing to promote true health and wellness.

2. Your skin is your largest organ so be careful on what you put on it. Try to be as chemical-free as possible. She gave an example that if you rub garlic clove on your toe, you'll taste it in your mouth in 15 minutes. I did my research here and it's true! That's how absorbent our skin is and how much circulation there is in the body. Knowing that, perhaps we should all read the fine print on labels for EVERYTHING that we put on our skin and in our bodies!

3. Do NOT use the microwave.  -I completely agree with her on this one. Not many people are aware that most foods in restaurants are microwaved before being served. Make sure to check with your waiter that your food is heated on the kitchen stove instead. Microwaved food is dead food.

Life Factory and Para'kito are sure travel essentials.

These modern eco-friendly reusable glass bottles come with a rubber sleeve to prevent cracking and accidents..especially with the little ones!
The new FLIP top cap makes it uber easy to get refreshed! Just flip open with one hand and chug away!! Perfect for this insane summer heat!

Another goodie is PARA'KITO from France!
The 7 natural essential oils (Lavendula, Geranium, Citronella, Maritime Prime, Patchouli and Clove) are infused on the active pellet within the band. This is their natural technology which has been tested in France to be proven effective against pesky mosquitoes. We at FLOW love our Para'kito bands!!

A sneak peek at the new designs for summer :)

Here with yummymummies that are also my partners in promoting a healthy lifestyle approach with our FLOW retreats.

INDIGOBABY: Why I Love Bravado

On my last trimester with my belly and body changing with the miracle of pregnancy

Indigobaby carries Bravado Nursing Bras and I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a set of the Original Bikini Brief in white.
Why I Love my Bravado Original Bikini:

1. With my body changing and growing, this bikini brief fits oh-so-snug. My bum was growing and I needed a panty with full coverage to save me from yucky panty lines. This one fit perfectly.
A full seat that stays put! Just what I needed!

2. Made from 90% cotton, these panties are PERFECT for our insane summer weather! Being pregnant, I am drowning in sweat mostly, and lace sexy undies just won't do:P

3. But being a yummymummy, image is essential too:P Fortunately, these bikinis are low-rise and fit snugly below my blissful belly and are sexy too! (ask the hubbie:P)

4. The front panel sits comfortably on my belly and can be folded down easily if needed.
I like it up for tummy support;)
5. The leg openings are ideal and do not creep up or create painful itchy panty lines on my ever-changing body.
Available in Small to XL and can be used also after delivery!

BRAVADO is a Canada-based company committed to comfort and style from pregnancy and beyond. They are worn and loved by many yummymummies worldwide, including loads of celebrities. I am soooo happy that they are being distributed here in the Philippines through a yummymummy friend of mine.

FLOW: Made Our Way to Paradise

photos and blog lifted from http://wanderlustdrifted.blogspot.com/2013/05/flowsurfyogasamba-boracay_16.html

our very first flow:surfyogasamba retreat beyond the island of luzon! last april 18-21, we took flow to the sunny shores of the country's premier summer destination... boracay!

our home for 4 days, boracay terraces resort, which was situated on the very end of station 1, away from the noise and crowds.

on our first day in the island, bri manglapus, a certified rocket yoga teacher and psa's resident yoga instructor, led an invigorating vinyasa class at the rooftop of boracay terraces resort. we got the view of the sea and sunset, it was so serene and beautiful!

bri, on the left, in her zobha top from aura athletica, showing us how to do a standing split.

participants enjoyed nyogi coconut water refreshments after that challenging yoga session.

the very next day was jam packed with activities! we teamed up with paolo soler, of philippine surfing academy for a surf session at the wave pool of crown regency resort in station 2. surfing in a wave pool is perfect for beginners since waves are more consistent and in a controlled environment. Paolo first conducted land lessons, teaching the basics of surfing such as the parts of the surfboard, how to handle a surfboard, proper paddling and popping up.

surfing in a wavepool can get really tiring but everyone was stoked nonetheless!

my cousin, alessa lanot of life after breakfast blog, taught everyone how to make rubberstamps at our crafternoon workshop.

up bright and early for day 3 of flow boracay! monica, flow's yoga teacher, guided participants into a therapeutic sunrise yin yoga class at discovery shores beach front. monica stressed the importance of rest in order to be fully active. and since it was a beach yoga class, some students even used their lagu beach blankets as yoga mats!

post yoga group shot!

that afternoon, we conducted a green smoothie and live foods workshop at the summer soul bohemain fair. we used our favorite healthy ingredients for our recipes such as the malunggay powder from moringana malunggay capsules and for our green smoothies, we used the trusty breville power blender!

samba school imperatriz filipinense, performed live drumming and taught simple samba dance moves to all guests at the summer soul bohemian fair! it was such a lively and festive afternoon!

imperatriz filipinense's lead drummer, toni (middle) looking rad in her panda sunglasses!

flow participants chillin' at the bohemian fair!

everyone got a pair of havaianas flip flops which we used all weekend!

we always have the coolest goodies from our sponsors! flow reusable canvas bag filled with awesome items such as moringana malunggay capsules, gift certificates from browhaus, strip, beyond yoga, sunshine kitchen, rawlicious, good reads from turista magazine and travel magazine plus more items and freebies from summer soul!

group shot!

the team spent the last day in the island swimming and even went on a sunset cruise!

thanks heaps to our sponsors for helping us make this first boracay island retreat extra memorable - lifestyle network's summer soul, aura athletica, havaianas, moringana, panda sunglasses, strip, browhaus, beyond yoga, rawlicious, nyogi coconut water, breville, lagu, and our media sposnors, travel magazine, turista magazine and my life on board.

watch out for the next flow destination - punta bulata resort, negos occidental on june 28-30 for a yoga escape weekend! registration is up here!
