Do you have questions about or challenges with breastfeeding your baby? Are you curious about the benefits and how-to’s of babywearing? Come to our information-packed workshop on Breastfeeding 101 and Babywearing!
Although breastfeeding is natural, it doesn’t always come easily and is a learned art. Our resource speaker, Miss Abbie Yabot, will provide expectant and new parents with the knowledge and confidence to successfully start and sustain a satisfying breastfeeding relationship with your baby.
Parenting Pals: Breastfeeding 101
Miss Yabot is a Certified Lactation Counselor. She is a La Leche League Leader and the founder of the Breastfeeding Club. La Leche League is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting breastfeeding mothers.
Babywearing is much more than the practice of carrying a baby or toddler in a cloth carrier. It is a vital and beautiful way for parents to communicate love, warmth, and security to their child, while simultaneously enhancing their child’s physical and emotional development. Explore what babywearing could mean for you with our resource speaker, Miss Denise Gonzales-Bernardo.
Miss Gonzales-Bernardo is a babywearing expert and one of the mompreneurs behind Indigo Baby, a one-stop baby shop using all natural products for parents and babies. She is also a staunch advocate of attachment parenting and breastfeeding.
Breastfeeding 101 and Babywearing is on Saturday, November 23, 2013, from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Insular Life Multi-Purpose Hall, Insular Life Makati Building, Ayala Avenue corner Paseo de Roxas Street, Makati City. This workshop is part of Manila Workshops’ Parenting Pals Workshop Series and is supported by Indigo Baby, StemCord Philippines, Inc., and Insular Life.
